My name is Josh Morlan and I am a self taught Web Developer. I am a senior level coder with over 13 years of experience building, maintaining, and customizing websites. I graduated college in 2009 with a Bachelors in Web Design and Multimedia, but soon after found my true calling was the code that makes websites work.
I am an expert in the LAMP stack (linux, apache, mysql, php), I’m a full stack developer meaning I am able to create a website from nothing, setting up a server, writing front end and back end code, integrating databases, etc.
I write a significant amount of custom PHP code, but I also work with frameworks like WordPress, and my coding knowledge helps me to modify WordPress beyond installing plugins and themes, I can modify the code itself to work however my clients need it to.
On the database side of things I am experienced with large data sets, number crunching, report generation and display.
I work with clients from all over the world to create, modify, or fix their websites. I am a self starter, I need little hand holding, but welcome open and constant communication to make sure every project is completed as expected.
